Personality of a Domestic Cat

A Domestic Cat, also called a Farm Cat or mixed breed, is what all cats in Sweden without a pedigree are called. It is the most common type of cat in Sweden. Because cats can have very different genes, they can differ greatly in temperament, appearance and size. The Domestic Cat is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, but remember that if your cat is an outdoor cat, it should be neutered to avoid poaching!

Looks and fur care of a Domestic Cat

The Domestic Cat's fur can be either short or long haired, short-haired house cats being the most common. The short-haired coat does not require much grooming, but the long-haired coat requires brushing to help the cat deal with any tangles that may occur in the coat. Cats are very clean animals and the short-haired ones in particular are able to care for their coat without bathing, the long-haired cat may need a bath about every two months.
